Eric Nguyen, whose talents - Sony VX-1000 in hand - no longer need an introduction (or if they do, then feel free to check out his past productions here), is back with "SLOPES": just short of eight minutes filmed in between his Texas home and San Francisco that honor both Select Skateshop and the Black Lives Matter movement (represented by several organizations whose respective websites are linked to in the YouTube description of the edit). There, one gets to see the usual suspects again - including Ben Havran and Kyle Cielencki to name just two out of many more, but also some of the kings of the Bay Area hills: Ben Gore, Ryan Barlow, Chris Athans and even Magenta Japanese flow rider Futoshi Tokuyama - who, from the looks of it, was really set on making the most of his S.F. vacation! Also worth mentioning: the appearance of a certain Fred Gall...

Eric's productivity being particularly upbeat, it can even exceed our workflow at LIVE sometimes - therefore we strongly encourage you to check out his YouTube channel to catch up with his recent activity - and more edits such as "CURFEW", for instance!

It had been a while since our last news from the Texas front from local VX-1000 tape slayer Eric Nguyen who operates, notably, for Houston-based Select skateshop which just celebrated its tenth year anniversary with a new full-length video by Eric, available here. The piece features the talents of many a local skateboarder, including the ones of Ben Havran (also known on social media as @chunkyspliff - you shouldn't be surprised either) who, on his own end of things, also just turned pro for Dead On Arrival, Steve Fletch's labor of love and nostalgia of a company. The footage will have you instantly grasp why: Ben's skating is particularly well-rounded, mixing together ingredients such as improbable pop, handrail mastery, brave tech and the occasional ambitious ambidexterity into a blend of always-clean style. Add the flavors of Eric's filming and editing to the formula, and you're bound to get quite the explosive cocktail!

Birthday Pool party

After treating us well with La Armonía, Eric Nguyen comes back, with the same team in front of his fisheye, to celebrate the nine springs of the Huston’s Select skateshop by offering us a video that smells like summer, holidays and pool parties.

Sweet Armonía...

After Kyle "Slinky" Cielencki's recentlyEric Nguyen is now releasing a new part from his latest full-length video for the Houston-based Select Skateshop: La Armonía. So here is Trung Nguyen doing crazy tricks at interesting spots... A very impressive part; and even moreso knowing that he is mostly renowned as a filmer. Makes you think twice!

La Armonía / Kyle Cielencki / PREMIERE

Eric Nguyen is the epitome of the modern skate youth: passionate, smart in his social media use, and really quite frantic in terms of productivity as far as VX-1000 output is concerned. Always in between two projects, Eric just finalized his third full-length video for Houston-based skateshop Select entitled "La Armonía", of which he sent us no less than the closing segment: Kyle "Slinky" Cielencki's part. And a very good one it is! LIVE Skateboard Media is now presenting it to you, and we thought that would make for quite the perfect occasion to catch up with Eric, chit chat a bit and most importantly, introduce you to what he's been doing...
