God bless Rave

As always with Rave, when you look a little at what they do, it may seem a bit weird. But in reality, so much the better not? It is this quirk that forges their identity. It is because they allow themselves to skate all spots, small, big, wood, brick, with or without utensils (more or less catholic) that ten seconds of videos are enough to know who one has to do. But special does not mean bad, the team is composed only of excellent skaters with impeccable style and determination.

Hooded

The advantage with the hood is that it works on everyone, but today we can say that the guys from the Rave team wear it better than others. The proof images in their latest video "La Jondelle" as delirious as what they used to offer us. Delirious! Yes, but far from being ridiculous when you watch them baptize their new DIY spot with a lot of fully committed tricks. When you have as much creativity with concrete as on a skateboard, necessarily the end product has cachet.

Gimme five!

"Look, ma', no hand!" Oh wait, yes hand, yes hands actually, and yes feet too… All in good spirits too, as always, when we speak about  Romain Batard!

Jean genio

Or where a wet and wintery Napoli doesn't seem to stop the European Levi's crew from shredding it all!

Euro Giddy!

If you ever wonder who's is really on one in French skateboarding at the moment, the best response we could offer you would be the keys to hack Romain Batard's hard-drives… They all here: Parisians, non-Parisians, tourists, visitors and dabblers! We will set aside the Taveira case, here, as he steals the show here –as in every other skate edit these days– to highlight Felipe Bartolome that appears here with no more mane and in great form!

A.E.I.U.O part 2

Our very own Augustin is back with a sick edit, filmed from Berlin to Copenhagen, but mainly around Paris, with one hell of a casting… You gonna dig it, guaranteed!

Jean genies

From Édouard Depaz to Val Bauer, we are already signing in and add the rapidly making his room in everybody's heart Quentin Boillon and you're in for quality street skating… Put those three in Paris under Joaquim Bayle's scrutinity, and you got a match!

The alpha and the omega…

Once again, the Öctagon heads demonstrate how strong minded they are, by following their original concept with a persistence one can only salute, just as well as all the talents involved. Not much more to add, apart maybe that from the skating to the editing, everything here is about impeccable, and even more!

a Bordeaux stop

The Place homies get a special visit of Bordeaux street by native, Édouard Depaz, and friends… Perfect week-end!

Croukette / PREMIERE

All right, let's make room for the youth! Here, we present you, as a LIVE exclusive, the latest Augustin Giovannoni production. Augustin is a young Parisian filmer, and it's all here: locals, République, tourists, visiting buddies! As for the title, well, according to the Blobys dictionary, it stands for "good stuff!". Let's have a look at what the new generation proposes us. No doubt, we've got a lot to (re-)learn from them!

Post gabber!

Should Bram have gotten last trick? Is the hardware market ready for a brand influenced by Dutch dance floors? Is Öctagon the most refined and defined project you can watch these days? So many questions

The skatrix

Shame on us, by not subscribing to the #hypebeast newsletter, we completely missed the release of the new work from Joaquim Bayle, while we had been waiting for it! Because that guy is good at what he does, real good! His crew ain't bad either, from Édouard Depaz to Valentin Bauer. The pitch, real quick: the world might be saved from those bad computers by those uncontrolable skaterboys. No Keeanu Reeves featuring, but a lot of Bram de Cleen, and that matters a lot to us!
