Once again, the Deep Dish hit hard, real hard, even… With that raw, raw street we know them for, adding a couple new faces, like that Justin Henry we always tell you about, an improbable Steffen Watts from start to the end of his part, all culminating with Brett Weinstein fusing all Chicago influences to make it into his own twopointzero version… That full-length is what you would need to kick start the week, but it could help you go through the winter, too! And the footage of the gang switching from multiple layers of winter puff to sweaty shorts will also remind you of what matter to them, just as much as it does to you: the crew! Thank you, Deep Dish for the wake-up slap…
You already know the Deep Dish crew, aiming straight from Chicago, that has been putting Chi Town on the map, but not only, as they're never afraid to travel and meet other scenes in include them all in their videos. Mark Dunning and John Schmoldt are already working on their fourth opus, that should be more centered around the Midwest, with Steffen Watts, Brett Weinstein, Matt Nordness, Nico Rizzo and the rest as the main line-up. They are announcing it for spring, and for now are offering us a promo as a LIVE exclusive, that notably sees that famous double bank spot in a parking garage getting murdered!
The Deep Dish guys, we have taken upon following them for a bit, but this time, they lead us back to Europe, with adventures on this side of the Ocean that reminded us that Stalin Square still stands strong in Prague or that Flex O'Connor still rips! And then it's back to their East Coast, and the rough spots they love, which neither them nor us would complain about! Another great production, and a dope follow-up to Deep Dish 2!
Welcome to Chicago, a city that seems to be raising a good crop of dudes, not too worried by harsh spots, and that still get to enjoy their marble at night… Each with their own take on it. Well, looks a bit like the rest of the skate world, doesn't it?
