Philly Santosuosso

Expansions

The legacy of video productions courtesy of Australian brand Butter Goods only leads one to expect la crème de la crème with every new edit of theirs and this one: "EXPANSIONS", holds up to our fanciest expectations in terms of quality and then some - again. This time, Quentin Guthrie and Ethan de Lacy are the pilots of the Sony VX-1000 (in between the capturing of analog atmosphere shots that eventually complement the skating very well), Italy is where it all went down, and one is granted the delight of lots of new Casey Foley footage, most notably; that's in between the likes of the ever-so-efficient Ben Gore and Philly Santosuosso, and even a pristine-looking Morgan Campbelltwenty-one years after Misled Youth!

Kalis alert!

A collaboration no one was really expecting or at least, only as much as over a minute of footage of an often imitated, never replicated Josh Kalis surfacing like that out of the blue - but of course those are, in both cases, interesting news!

Visibly, DC Shoes is issuing a collaboration capsule with our friends from Perth, Australia who do Butter Goods and, logically, it is Josh Roberts (of the "Domingo" video series, amongst others) that was hired and teleported straight to Chicago, in order to film demonstrations of the aforementioned Josh Kalis' trademark form of impeccable 360 flips, but also some remarkable maneuvers by Philly Santosuosso, the man behind Humidity Skateshop, for the picture to be complete.

Buttery mixtape!

At Butter Goods, they do things proper, we know it, and if you had that this edit is a sort of Best-Of remixed by Josh Roberts, we already real street lines will be queen, and us viewers fulfilled!

Scum of the hills

The guys from Scumco and Sons came out of the East Coast to enjoy a trip to San Francisco. They take the opportunity to remind us that there are many ways to skate SF beyond what we usually see. From butchering huge sets of stairs, or engaged wallrides, to tech grinds and manuals in addition to the famous hill bombs, everything goes!

Can't stop!

As always, they got it right, at Butter Goods! Even in Barcelona, they manage to renew the streets they explore, and even the beyond rinsed spots… All through lines, and with class, from the good ol' Morgan Campbell to the seemingly relentless Philly Santosuosso… Nothing seems to get in his way!

Rythm!

They have it in their blood, at Butter Goods, no doubt! Every single one of their edits is on point, just as the team… This one is in the same vein, with a Ben Gore killing it softly as usual, and a  Philly Santosuosso capable of transforming Barcelona in just a couple occurrences of his always on point pop!

Tasty bite!

The kind of edit you can only love, to a tee! Then again, at Scumco & Sons, they've had us used to such standards… Including some Kyle Nicholson in there. Just great, we tell ya!

Irie

At Butter Goods, they got good taste, and it translates in the choice of their representatives on wheels: just on point! Gore is perfect with his lines on the sides of the hills where you can feel the smallest mistake would hurt, Santosuosso always deliver and about every trick stomped by Alex Campbell seems to cry out loud: "Respect my authoritah!" Damn, this is a very generous week, so far, when it comes to street skating you actually want to watch!

Philly's Side

In the "my skateshop owner fucking kills it!" family, mister Santosuosso is one of the few! Complete respect for the motivation, but also for the straight ripping this guy nails after closing time…

Da goods!

You might remember Josh Roberts from such films as Domingo, The Perfect Amount of Lazy and recently Crossing The Perth Dimension, well, he is back, with a solid quarter of an hour of some of our favorite Australians, such as Morgan Campbell, for the local brand Butter Goods.

Danger

Wait… So you don't have to travel the world to seek spots, and then rip them to the fullest!? Now, that's surprising! Oh, and you do not need to be a big company to do things right either? Well, nope, you can just stay in Pittsburgh.
