Giddy 11

Romain Batard, the French skate filmmaker LIVE really shouldn't have to introduce to you by now just on the basis of his longevity in the field, is back today with the eleventh chapter in his series-turned-saga "GIDDY" - and pretty clearly the most ambitious one that is, also including contributions from some equally prestigious video fiends, for a timeline just short of twenty minutes in total - but rest assured you won't catch a break!

On the menu: stunts from the usual suspects - Edouard DepazValentin BauerJoseph BiaisLilian FevMarc-A BarbierRemy Taveira - but also many others (including Max Palmer, Sylvain Tognelli, Mika Germond, Dustin Dollin... Quite the universal roster!), immortalized on Parisian spots aplenty - some classic ones and some more rare nugs, all approached with a sweet creative twist. Out of many examples, one of Soy's many fountains gets reinvented (and that's despite the mysterious disappearance of the corresponding Instagram account), but really it's the whole landscape of the French capital that gets dripped into new colors here, from the most famous plazas to the most unknown street corners possible (e.g.. le Dôme's three-flat-three, or the benches at République)... All in great fun as well, just bathing in the rhythm of the daily sessions.

Chic, chic, chic!

And as a complementary bonus, we are happy to share with y'all this photo gallery, by Max Verret!

Moscow Drift

The Atlantic Drift saga now lives onto its tenth chapter with this new installment in which Moscow turns out to be the playing fields. The featured skateboarders make for quite the all-star roster as the project's timeline is shared by the resourceful, varied likes of Chris Jones, Max Palmer, Nick Jensen or Nik Stain; although, the true M.V.P. here has to be the seemingly invincible Tom Knox whose skating really proves to display a savant reading of the urban architecture, absurdly well-refined technical sorcery even in environments so unpractical they become straight up hostile, and finesse as the capital cherry atop of the cake.

Behind the lens and in the editing room: again Jacob Harris, one of the most important skate videographers of the last decade ("Eleventh Hour", "Vase"). What can go wrong?

Pop rock

As hinted yesterday by our GALERIE feature, made of the photos of Davy Van Laere and Hugo Snelooper, The Pop heads drop an edit celebrating their collab' with Carhartt, and use it as an excuse to team up and explore rural parts of Holland. No chance you would be tired of seeing those spots, yet! Maybe their best production, yet…

Blacks and whites

If in Paris tonight, this thirty-first of October, then let's meet as early as 6 PM at Carhartt WIP Store Paris Le Marais, for the launch of the brand's new collection, a collaborative effort with our Amsterdam homies over at POP Trading Company!

In order to get you amped for Friday's edit, you can already get in the mood via those photos by Hugo Snelooper and Dave Van Laere, above!

Atlantic Drift alert!

Let's head to Athens, with the whole gang in full force, even if once again, it is Mike Arnold that just displays his own magic whatever the spot might be… He really is in his own bubble, for our collective pleasure!

Tav' alert!

So, the actual idea that Remy Taveira might fucking talented on a skateboard comes as no scoop, that's for sure… But this Guillaume Perimony project for Carhartt WIP raises the bar quite high in the "Great part form Remy" category! And, for this one he's got a supporting cast that adds up seriously, as nobody seems into staying in the shadows. Let's notably note the Classiest Australian in the World, Josh Pall. Yep, this is very sick and perfect to kick off the week-end!

Atlantic Drift alert!

So, are Jacob Harris and co. producing the best thing there is to be seen these days, when it comes down to that wheels on a plank thingy? Well… Yes. Period. Even when they reach slightly rinsed grounds, just like those San Francisco hills, they manage to surprise us, in all the best possible ways!

Intramuros

The most known Parisian skateshop, for the best reasons, Nozbone continues steady killing it by producing another video, where Ludo Azémar manages to capture the energy of a city, and mainly of a generation… All you ever wanted to see when it comes to skating in Paris, and even more!

kings of hip(-pies)

Where one takes the simplest daily pleasures of skateboarding, mini-ramping and, furthermore, the good ol' hippie jump, to turn it into its very own category of performance, reaching Olympic –yet, actually creative– levels… Skateboarding is a beautiful thing, especially when it's done by dudes like the Atlantic Drift crew. Seriously…

Drifters

In case you would have been grounded all last week, and/or deprived of an internet connection, we'll save you some time, here: This new edit by Jacob Harris is the one and only thing you should watch (and re-watch), to catch up on that week, but mainly to fill up on beautiful skating full of ideas put together in an actually original way…

Classic spot!

Where one of the most famous London spot gets a new breath of life, and a handful of lines nobody seems to have spotted before… Bet, you did not see that one coming… Bet you already knew Jacob Harris was damn good at what he does!

Jacob Fucking Harris!

Be warned, this is a small masterpiece! Jake Harris is back with an edit that should stand the test of time, and for good reasons only… Sure, all Isle is here, and the guest are also top notch… But, mainly, the filmmaking talents of Jacob reach here a new level…
