Tolia Titaev

Moscow Drift

The Atlantic Drift saga now lives onto its tenth chapter with this new installment in which Moscow turns out to be the playing fields. The featured skateboarders make for quite the all-star roster as the project's timeline is shared by the resourceful, varied likes of Chris Jones, Max Palmer, Nick Jensen or Nik Stain; although, the true M.V.P. here has to be the seemingly invincible Tom Knox whose skating really proves to display a savant reading of the urban architecture, absurdly well-refined technical sorcery even in environments so unpractical they become straight up hostile, and finesse as the capital cherry atop of the cake.

Behind the lens and in the editing room: again Jacob Harris, one of the most important skate videographers of the last decade ("Eleventh Hour", "Vase"). What can go wrong?

"MOSCOW"

Yesterday, we were showing you a photo galerie photo from OBED, the print edition resulting from a trip to Moscow that Louis Perruchaud, Thomas Dettori, Selim Osseirane and Victor Demonte took together. A perfect introduction to today's edit, fruit from the same visit. Here is the version with moving images, partly in Super 8, filmed by Victor Demonte and Thomas Dettori, and edited by Victor. So, yep, where are you going this summer!?

"OBED" / GALERIE

Ready for your summer adventure!? Here is something that should put the fire under to get friends together and find a destination… Because this is exactly what Louis Perruchaud, Thomas Dettori, Selim Osseirane and Victor Demonte did, in order to go see what Moscow had to offer, with the best guides possibles in the likes of Tolia Titaev and crew! These four came back with great memories, but also enough good photos to finally put them together on paper to produce an edition titled OBED, from which we selected the photos above.

This should keep you on your toes, until the video drops tomorrow, and in the mean time, you can cop OBED, the zine, here.

Spectaacular!

Carhartt W.I.P. gathered one heavy crew for Lentiicular, a collecti(i)on of clips filmed over the span of three years between New York, Paris, Madrid and Lisbon. Roger Gonzales' video work is simply beautiful and the cast only makes it more incredible, with a great mix of styles such as those of Andrew Wilson, Remy Taveira, Tolia Titaev, Felipe Bartolomé, Joseph Biais, Taylor Caruso and even Chris Milic. But above all, finally we get to enjoy a real part from Roman Gonzales who as usual never fails at getting creative, gracious and technical.

8 ball!

We barely had time to recover from the seventh episode, that Romain Batard dazzles us with an eighth Giddy. And this time the cast that travels through the streets of Paris is even bigger than as usual. We even have the right to a little touch of romanticism that makes everything so harmonious. Add a rather serious featuring by Steve Malet!

Tav' alert!

So, the actual idea that Remy Taveira might fucking talented on a skateboard comes as no scoop, that's for sure… But this Guillaume Perimony project for Carhartt WIP raises the bar quite high in the "Great part form Remy" category! And, for this one he's got a supporting cast that adds up seriously, as nobody seems into staying in the shadows. Let's notably note the Classiest Australian in the World, Josh Pall. Yep, this is very sick and perfect to kick off the week-end!

Jeunes de maintenant

If you ever wonder what might be happening these days in Paris, young Augustin Giovannoni should be your best bet… Proof here, in moving images, with a nice little postcard resulting from his recent adventures. And, if you want to know more, from now on, you will be able to follow the #liveSBreport!

Autumn in Paris…

Tolia Titaev was recently back in Paris, in town amongst things to present his new brand, Paccbet. Off course, Augustin was on it!

White man blues

Meanwhile, from London to Paris, young Augustin is out there, following it all a camera in hand!
