Gibbo

As a part of his Lightbox series, the always experimenting Irish filmmaker Phil Evans, just released a new edit, dedicated to the Golden Hour sessions around Malmö of Daniel Rabia. You most likely will have noticed his quite atmospheric soundtrack, specifically composed for the project, just as for the totality of Lightbox, by Andrew Gibbons, AKA "Gibbo". Here, Phil documents him in the process, mimicking the techniques Gibbo uses, as he is filming him with an ancient toy, the good ol' Fisherprice PXL 2000, filming on audio tapes, just like Andrew recorded all his work for Lightbox on K7 tapes also. In both cases, the final feel is quite unique, and it makes the beauty of it! You can now cope the full soundtrack for Lightbox, here.
