Nant'es Sérieux?

"Nant'es Sérieux ?!" is a local video of the kind that's a special treat to see drop, as not 'just' strong of showcasing the various talents of underground skaters aplenty, as well as their obscure spots (on top of demonstrations of how to skate them), this first full-length from Nantes, France by Damien Indersie, Alan Sanchez and Nicholas Sandquist is generally super well-made. Reasonably, the hour-plus-long running time should get the job done scaring the most casual crows away but here, the pace of the edit intertwining quick-paced VX-1000 and original intermissions (special mention for the incredible "Nounours" transition short film) will instead keep them up at night, to the beat of the landings, slams and screams of a whole lot of occasionally careless individuals. The majority of the current Nantes scene has to be featured in there, thereby granting "Nant'es Sérieux ?!" the commonly coveted time capsule status, as in that ten years from now the new local kids just picking up skating will still be blown away, and inspired by this gem as it shows up in their naive, first ever skateboarding-related YouTube searches... Ain't that the whole point after all?
