Tightbooth alert!

"SECURITY LEVEL ∞" is the title of the newest contribution from the Japan-based Tightbooth to the screens and feeds of all those in-the-know, consisting in four minutes testifying of how difficult urban skating in Japan really is due to the omnipresent police and security, directly in spite of how easy the locals usually end up making everything look regardless. Obviously on the menu here, the usual perfect filming and razor-sharp editing and also some damn fine maneuvers courtesy of some heads with great style the crew otherwise only highlights ever so often. Shinpei Ueno really knows who to work with and, while the most avant-garde of hypebeasts may already be lurking the web in search for the retail price of those silver Tightbooth decks, some others will instead be inspired to dust off the backside boneless, too. Oh and just like last time, the soundtrack is by Killer Bong.

Peace and love II

Kenta Okamoto, LIVE interviewed him already around the time of the release of "PALE", and that wasn't the only time we've passed the man's edits around either. Now, still the same gifted cameraman amidst a crew of equally inventive and Japanese skaters, "PEACE AND LOVE V.2" turns out to be the direct spiritual sequel to the previous eponymous installment and consists in eighteen minutes of all new footage - them guys really are at it! As expected from Kenta by now, the filming and editing are stellar, the soundtrack exquisite and there might be one of the best flatground 360 flips ever filmed somewhere in there, too - amongst just as remarkable urban, mostly nocturnal, prowess.

And to keep in touch with Japan even better, may we recommend again the UGLY WEAPON videos, featuring a few heads in common - most especially, their latest piece of output for now: "SAMMY".

The Manwho Souled The World

We've mentioned works from the Japanese crew Manwho before, although without ever really getting to give them a proper introduction; today, we're happily righting this wrong with their new montage - dedicated to Jupiter ("木星") - and quite violently so, too, as it's got to be one of our favorite edits that came out this year. We're talking six minutes of peak VX-1000 maneuvering around some very remarkable urban skating - all killer no filler - resulting in precious, pristine footage then set to an upbeat and surprisingly joyful soundtrack, making for quite the hypnotic motivational watch; one you'll probably find yourself going back to. And, while all of that sounds just like their classic recipe (given that they're already strong of several full-length DVD's, in between more creative productions, and also of quite the YouTube channel), even the most initiated fans are bound to be shocked by how much everyone is upping the ante here - all in front of Kazuya Yokoe's lens. This even includes Magenta Skateboards rider Shogo Zama, for even more clips after his very recent appearance in Kenta Okamoto's latest video: "PALE". Just beautiful!
