Some audiovisual news from the Japanese company Strush Wheels always makes for our favorite output to relay on LIVE, and this one just doesn't, couldn't miss as it consists in a postcard from Shinsuke Haruta also known as HAL, updating us from his hometown of Geisei, a village situated in the Kōshi Prefecture that is "mountains and greenhouses" - a drastically different environment from his previous habitat, Osaka.
When our favorite japanese skate wheel makers over at Strush Wheels (whose former productions, including the legendary "COLLECTIVE IMPROVISATION", can be browsed here) team up with Hong Kong-based record label Klasse Wrecks for the span of a collab and the accompanying web edit, what you get is this boiling hot potato of razor sharp-cut VX-1000 clips that are bound to kick you in the retinas, as well as put you in a trance that might technically be set to last for barely three minutes, but the energy of which will outlive said duration time all the way into your next sessions for sure.
As announced yesterday, with Alan Maag's GALERIE, here we are –finally– presenting you the adventures of quite the crew (mixing some of our favorite Swiss rippers and their international friends) in Japan. Sure, they do hit the classic spots, but most notably do their fair share of exploring, thanks to their local connections. Yes, they did skate with the Japanese… All that said, this must be one of the best edits we have been proud to introduce to you guys, as a PREMIERE!
