Tony Rafanomezana

UNEMPLOYED / "Trial Period" / GALLERY

Our favorite self-proclaimed Unemployed people actually run a griptape company from Marseille, France, and just put out a new edit: "TRIAL PERIOD", as though to showcase a willpower to make their own designation lie. They are indeed super productive, with still plenty in the works; as far as recent productions, one might remember "AVANCE L'ARRIERE". This new edit is about fifteen minutes long yet will leave you wanting for more, as the (trip) footage will cocoon you in a world of perfect spots of all kinds like the South of France altogether has to offer: Marseille, Lyon and the general region, although they did go to Paris for some tech prowess.

Among the featured skaters are Victor Campillo, Nassim Lachhab, Matisse Banc and many more; watch the video on this page, and take a gander at the photo gallery above that Brian Bunting was kind enough to contribute, just so we could present it to you.

The backhand

While they had recently shined in the Pure Bag Juice video, Victor Campillo and Tony Rafanomezana hit us a second time with a part for BMG. At least now we are sure that they both have an incredible technique on all the tables, and we can note the balance of Victor Campillo which chaines always more and more complex manual combos. In short a youth who first put a big slap, then a very violent backhand.

One more dose of Pure

We knew we had to keep a close eye on the guys from Pure Wolrdwide, and here they are back to put us a big slap with Bag Juice. An edit in which they are literally without mercy with all the spots they cross from the capital to Marseilles. Between Tony Rafanomezana’s (which also has an incredible part) and Ruben Planque’s bangers, the technique of Allan Arma or the inimitable style of Stanley Pradel, we will quickly end up addicted!

Pure good stuff!

The dudes from Pure Worldwide are back and top their already promising very first edit with this new production that keep going in a direction we can only back: good skating from South of France all the way to Cali, and a great crew dynamic. The kids are making it happen, and it's a pleasure to watch it unfold! Follow those guys, we tell ya!

Meanwhile, in Marseille…

Seems like they do spend more time skating than working! At least, the Unemployed dudes…
