Minuit Exp. 3

Yoan Taillandier of Minuit fame and glory just came back to leave his yearly mark on your retinas via the web release of "MINUIT EXP. 3" (thus the sequel to "EXP. 1", "2" and really so much more skate video history): four minutes and some crumbs worth of the best maneuvered Sony VX-1000 in the game for over a decade now, and mostly Bordeaux-based action with, notably, footage of Futoshi Tokuyama's French vacation way back in 2015. Coincidentally making for the perfect Magenta-tinted transition to also point at this new Soy Panday Lyon clip by Bastien Regeste, here!

Burdigala

The elusive Pierre Patissou - whose name you might remember from the "DOOMED FILES" - is back today with this clip of David Métivier filmed in between Bordeaux and Lisbon, for Wasted. So yeah, due to the (current) confidentiality settings of the Vimeo upload, the thumbnail might not look pretty, but you can take our word on how the three minutes and a half of footage that await you behind the click are worth it.

"NANTESLAJOLIE" / HY Skatebag / PREMIERE

The mighty fine, youthful roster of HY Skatebag, the French brand LIVE has already been featuring quite a few times upon the respective releases of video productions such as "PAR-HY" or "PLUS BELLE LA HY" (we even interviewed one of its C.E.O.'s, Paul Austin, here), is back on your screens y'all, and once again thanks to the filmmaking talents of Julien Dellion who just so happens to live in Nantes, France - and that's exactly where the whole plot takes place this time, for the entire duration of the seven minutes this new edit runs for.

Answered the call of the board, in addition to Paul himself: Alex Richard, P.J. Chapuis, Victor Campillo, Florian Merten, Matisse Banc, Victor Cascarigny and Fred Plocque-Santos aka. Yeah Le Yeah... But not just 'em:

"The original idea was to go and skate a city that's notoriously under the mainstream radar.

Julien Dellion lives in Nantes, so picking the destination was easy! And we even managed to get a Thibaud Fradin clip!" - Paul Austin

PJ alert!

Monsieur Chapuis has been on our radar for a while now, and there more than good reasons for it! So it is nice to see him this fine young man getting recognized by other connoisseurs, like the Grey skate mag homies! Here, once again PJ demonstrates his unique take on street furniture…

God bless Rave

As always with Rave, when you look a little at what they do, it may seem a bit weird. But in reality, so much the better not? It is this quirk that forges their identity. It is because they allow themselves to skate all spots, small, big, wood, brick, with or without utensils (more or less catholic) that ten seconds of videos are enough to know who one has to do. But special does not mean bad, the team is composed only of excellent skaters with impeccable style and determination.

UNEMPLOYED / "Trial Period" / GALLERY

Our favorite self-proclaimed Unemployed people actually run a griptape company from Marseille, France, and just put out a new edit: "TRIAL PERIOD", as though to showcase a willpower to make their own designation lie. They are indeed super productive, with still plenty in the works; as far as recent productions, one might remember "AVANCE L'ARRIERE". This new edit is about fifteen minutes long yet will leave you wanting for more, as the (trip) footage will cocoon you in a world of perfect spots of all kinds like the South of France altogether has to offer: Marseille, Lyon and the general region, although they did go to Paris for some tech prowess.

Among the featured skaters are Victor Campillo, Nassim Lachhab, Matisse Banc and many more; watch the video on this page, and take a gander at the photo gallery above that Brian Bunting was kind enough to contribute, just so we could present it to you.

Hooded

The advantage with the hood is that it works on everyone, but today we can say that the guys from the Rave team wear it better than others. The proof images in their latest video "La Jondelle" as delirious as what they used to offer us. Delirious! Yes, but far from being ridiculous when you watch them baptize their new DIY spot with a lot of fully committed tricks. When you have as much creativity with concrete as on a skateboard, necessarily the end product has cachet.

"Plus Belle La HY" / PREMIERE

If you regularly read LIVE Skateboard Media or just follow the French underground skate scene in general, then you should be familiar with the entity or at least the name HY Skate Bag; LIVE even interviewed Paul Austin about the brand and its previous video offering "Par HY", a few months back. "Plus Belle La HY" is - you guessed it - the title of their newest one, featuring Constantin Delmas, Fred Plocque-Santos, Pierre Leze, Pako Pion, Matt Débauché, Antoine Roussel, Léo Cholet, Florian Merten, PJ Chapuis, Victor Cascarigny, Matisse Banc, Nassim Lachab, Ben Raitano, Victor Campillo, Leezola and Paul himself (small roster...), hereby documented on a week-long skate holiday to Marseille. And just as it sounds like we could all use this type of sun ray sometime, the aforementioned Paul Himself decide to contribute to the warmth by chiming in!

The Swiss dream

Every time they come back it is to offer us something we never saw. And here is another dose of never seen, but in Switzerland! Make tricks of which they are the only ones to have the secret on spots that they are the only ones able to skate this way, the whole accompanied by some good slams. here is the cocktail recipe for a good Rave video. We will also notice one named Léo Cholet who gives us a very serious skateboarding lesson.

Emmanuel et Brigitte ont adopté un chien

Or where the Rave(-rs) team up with the esteemed colleagues of Jump skateshop to visit Montpellier… Because what a better address to start a new place visit than the place that provides all the local scene? You would guess what happened after that: spots you most likely have never seen, fresh skating on it and the most bizarre video title in a real long time!

Par-Hy-sians!

Yesterday, we were presenting the Hy crew, while premiering, as a LIVE exclusive, their latest video offering, by Julien Dellion, with a soundtrack by Matias Elichabehere, filmed during a recent Paris visit. The edit now free to share, and you should show around. People should dig it!

"Par Hy" / PREMIERE

It was only a matter of time before a brand such as HySkateBag rose from the willpower of a Bordeaux skate crew somehow really interested in providing the world with quality, Paris-made skate pouches yes, but not just that: their new video "PAR_HY", by Julien Dellion, just premiered in the French capital and now, LIVE Skateboard Media is presenting it to you alongside a quick interview with co-founder Paul Austin.
