Marius Chanut / 5W's!

Marius Chanut is one flamboyant product of the Parisian suburbs, skates for Supreme and studies art history. He's also a photography enthusiast, and that's exactly what the recently established Galerie Bête, in the basement of Arrow and Beast, just so happens to be celebrating right now with the exhibition "TO FATHOM", on display till July 22nd. Marius also handicrafted a new zine for the event, of which fifty copies are made available. For the luckiest of you to browse through on the metro whilst on their way there, here's the following conversation we just had with him, 5W's style as usual!

When it comes to skateboarding, Paris never really sleeps, but this time it's Valentin Ferreira at the realization. Supported by the one we no longer have to present here: Augustin Giovannoni. He offers us "Extra". A short overview of the young Parisian skate scene. An anthology of styles and faces that we are beginning to know well, including Marius Chanut with a skate of a sharpness defying all competition. A happy atmosphere, a lot of swimming, in short, a great memory of 2019!

Enfer, oui!

Augustin Giovannoni returns with "Hell yeah" and in addition to being the title of the video, it is surely also what we all had to shout at the end of the viewing. We know the talent of the guy behind the camera, with his many videos and more recently the famous "Live Sb Report". In fact, today Augustin is the eye that immortalizes the best the Parisian skateboarding in recent years. On the menu we have the right to more or less all the Paris scene igniting the asphalt of the capital. Simple effective, hard to find a better menu.
