Pop rock

As hinted yesterday by our GALERIE feature, made of the photos of Davy Van Laere and Hugo Snelooper, The Pop heads drop an edit celebrating their collab' with Carhartt, and use it as an excuse to team up and explore rural parts of Holland. No chance you would be tired of seeing those spots, yet! Maybe their best production, yet…

Blacks and whites

If in Paris tonight, this thirty-first of October, then let's meet as early as 6 PM at Carhartt WIP Store Paris Le Marais, for the launch of the brand's new collection, a collaborative effort with our Amsterdam homies over at POP Trading Company!

In order to get you amped for Friday's edit, you can already get in the mood via those photos by Hugo Snelooper and Dave Van Laere, above!

Lanka

We already knew that filmmaker James Craven chose the less beaten path more often than not, while managing to get some skating done, but this time, for a new Grey project, he goes for a different mood, as, for once refrain from going North, and heads closer to the Equator, and Sri Lanka, to see what's to be found there, with once again an ATV crew, if not more Francophone than usual. While keeping the same special mood that is his signature, by now.

Atlantic Drift alert!

Let's head to Athens, with the whole gang in full force, even if once again, it is Mike Arnold that just displays his own magic whatever the spot might be… He really is in his own bubble, for our collective pleasure!

Seoul Hills

Today, in my humble opinion, the converse team has one of the most beautiful and most marked identity of what the current skate scene proposes us. Each new video is a real pleasure for the eyes. "Uphill" filmed by James Cruickshank in the sublime cityscapes of Seoul and its surroundings is not lacking. But this time, we can fully appriciate Juan Virues in Olympic form that completes perfectly this Picture.

Spectaacular!

Carhartt W.I.P. gathered one heavy crew for Lentiicular, a collecti(i)on of clips filmed over the span of three years between New York, Paris, Madrid and Lisbon. Roger Gonzales' video work is simply beautiful and the cast only makes it more incredible, with a great mix of styles such as those of Andrew Wilson, Remy Taveira, Tolia Titaev, Felipe Bartolomé, Joseph Biais, Taylor Caruso and even Chris Milic. But above all, finally we get to enjoy a real part from Roman Gonzales who as usual never fails at getting creative, gracious and technical.

Friendship is forever

Remy Taveira leaving Antiz, this is a news that leaves a slight pinch in the heart... We all end up needing a little bit of change, one day. Beyond that, we wish him of course the best for the future, and success in all his upcoming projects. Before leaving, he selected, withLudovic Azémar, like to say goodbye, some of the most beautiful memories he sowed behind him during his years of loyal service to Antiz.

8 ball!

We barely had time to recover from the seventh episode, that Romain Batard dazzles us with an eighth Giddy. And this time the cast that travels through the streets of Paris is even bigger than as usual. We even have the right to a little touch of romanticism that makes everything so harmonious. Add a rather serious featuring by Steve Malet!

Five stars trip

Converse reveals the One Star World Tour 2018, sixteen days of traveling through the United States, Paris and London with the team that we like so much. And for this year’s edition, it looks like it’s the young skaters (European for some) in the spotlight with a Felipe Bartolome on fire and a breathtaking Kaue Cossa. All this announces only good things for the future.

Gimme five!

"Look, ma', no hand!" Oh wait, yes hand, yes hands actually, and yes feet too… All in good spirits too, as always, when we speak about  Romain Batard!

Atlantic Drift alert!

Rémy Taveira was discussing it in his recent Big Spin podcast, and yes, the crew did do Vegas. And did it good, trust that!

Bigger Spin / EP 002 - Rémy Taveira

Today's guest on the Bigger Spin is no other than Clichy-Sous-Bois youth extraordinaire, Rémy Taveira, whose strong thirst of discovery has brought him on a long, adventurous ride throughout most continents over the past decade, quite the distance away from the notorious Teenage Tour making for its starting point!
