Paul Grund

Minuit Exp. 2

Yoan Taillandier's present for this end-of-the-year's festivities bears the title "MINUIT EXP. 2" and serves as the announcement of a new Minuit website soon to pop up, or so it seems. What we get is four minutes of his trademark, hard-hitting Sony VX-1000 signature style, here focused on some Bordeaux skateboarding of the 2015 vintage, only seeing the light of day just now. Lots o' Glen Fox, some visiting James Coleman, Lui Araki and James Whineray sprinkled through here and there, Olivier Ente repping the O.G.'s alongside Patrick Houngtry and, also, a rather strong Blobys presence.

Talking things James Coleman, let us invite you to take a look at "HOT PLATE", Marshall Nicholson's new video. And you can also follow Minuit on YouTube, here!

Explosion emoji

Could "Boom" be the noise Paul Grund skateboard produces when hitting a spot? Well, this is what Ben Chaourne's latest production seems to indicate…

No limit

For the release of their two little pairs of shoes, the Polar skate team flew to Puerto Rico. The landscape and the spots are beautiful! There is really something to galvanize the troops. Of course, the Polar guys were unleashed, ready to taste concrete with an ever more incredible speed. They have not lost a gram of their madness since "We blew it at some point", and of course Tor Störm is still in at the filmmaking. Frankly difficult to find a team that can transmit as much energy in a video. Here is a proof in picture that we must perhaps forget the wax for much more speed, there is never too much we have to believe.

Enfer, oui!

Augustin Giovannoni returns with "Hell yeah" and in addition to being the title of the video, it is surely also what we all had to shout at the end of the viewing. We know the talent of the guy behind the camera, with his many videos and more recently the famous "Live Sb Report". In fact, today Augustin is the eye that immortalizes the best the Parisian skateboarding in recent years. On the menu we have the right to more or less all the Paris scene igniting the asphalt of the capital. Simple effective, hard to find a better menu.

Seoul Hills

Today, in my humble opinion, the converse team has one of the most beautiful and most marked identity of what the current skate scene proposes us. Each new video is a real pleasure for the eyes. "Uphill" filmed by James Cruickshank in the sublime cityscapes of Seoul and its surroundings is not lacking. But this time, we can fully appriciate Juan Virues in Olympic form that completes perfectly this Picture.

Evening glory

Hjalte at Stalin Platz is about a match made in heaven, isn't it? Oh, and Nik Stain reminds us all (well, we look at you, youngsters!) what a proper backside smith is made of, and our very own Paul Grund explodes a few of those glorious moments he is famous for. Another great Ben Chadourne work, we tell ya!

We blew it at some point

You can stop all the cyber-digging you have been up to lately: it's here! Yes, the latest Polar video!

Five stars trip

Converse reveals the One Star World Tour 2018, sixteen days of traveling through the United States, Paris and London with the team that we like so much. And for this year’s edition, it looks like it’s the young skaters (European for some) in the spotlight with a Felipe Bartolome on fire and a breathtaking Kaue Cossa. All this announces only good things for the future.

The hidden face

Ah, so my little finger just beeped me that there could be somewhere on the interwebs an alternative (and longuer!) version of the edit Kevin Rodrigues released yesterday to celebrate a shoe with his name on it!? The basic ingredients are still the exact same –buddies, homies and friends– but the soundtrack is different enough that it might introduce you to one of the most interesting albums of the 70's! Why, how… Who knows!?

Through Kev's eye!

If you ask Kevin Rodrigues to film a little edit, guess what he's going to focus on? Well, the homies, that is!

Yoan Taillandier / 5 W's!

As to better accompany his new Bordeaux montage, here's another dimension of Yoan's perspective on all things MINUIT, through the prism of our classic treatment-by-the-5 W's!

The L.A. boys

After the world famous Trocadero and Manhattan, the Polar dudes headed to the city where it, allegedly, all started, Los Angeles. It even look like Cali turned them all tanned and… blond? Must be the combined sun and sand effect… Surf's up!
