Magnus Bordewick

Enfer, oui!

Augustin Giovannoni returns with "Hell yeah" and in addition to being the title of the video, it is surely also what we all had to shout at the end of the viewing. We know the talent of the guy behind the camera, with his many videos and more recently the famous "Live Sb Report". In fact, today Augustin is the eye that immortalizes the best the Parisian skateboarding in recent years. On the menu we have the right to more or less all the Paris scene igniting the asphalt of the capital. Simple effective, hard to find a better menu.

Bon appétit!

Make sure you're ready to eat now as "Lunch" is Krzysztof Godek's new audiovisual buffet; the Polish filmmaker indeed just dropped "Lunch", a full-length video he spent the last six years filming all around Europe, from his home to Spain but also France, the U.K. and Norway, to list a few destinations. It's all HD and brimming with over a hundred (!) unique styles whose owners are so numerous, their names are impossible to enumerate and our uninitiated, very Western European understanding of the concept of vowels certainly doesn't help - but they're all in the video description and, to drop a few internationally popular names, get ready for some remarkable performances by Magnus Bordewick, Michal Juras and Luka Pinto. Better served boiling hot!

La crème anglaise

It's been a while since we see him maltreat all kinds of spots, that’s quite normal if the Numbers Edition 5 is dedicated to fiery Kyron Davis. The big American machine which is Numbers offers us the best of British phlegm through the cream of english skaters, from the Casper Brooker to Zach Delarue. Obviously a small dose of Magnus’ pop and we will even notice a nice line of our very own Karl Salah!

Teixeira alert!

Or where, in just one line, Rodrigo reminds all who lays down the law in those mean streets. We'll let you find out which one…

Magnus alert!

After our week dedicated to his case, you most likely were already believers, but this fine young gentleman confirms all expectations by stealing the show from a rather heavy squad, including Dennis and Daewon!

"MAGNUS" / Valencia

Zander Taketomo's photographic novel recounting Norwegian Magnus Bordewick's pilgrimage around the world alongside Chris Mulhern to film for his new, eponymous web part for Adidas is coming to an end... And it's onto the shores of Valencia that their flow ends up sweeping us, after a full week of daily havoc bouncing from Philadelphia to Taipei, then to Mallorca, Tokyo, then Seoul. Spain's third biggest city wasn't without inspiring our trio, skateboarding- and photography-wise: the proof being in the crazy amount of material their got just from that one trip! A feat also helped by the presence of Hermann Stene... Make sure to treat yourself with the clip, "Magnus", and please do stay in touch for new adventures!

"MAGNUS" / Seoul

Welcome to yet another chapter in Zander Taketomo's photo book comprising still images of Magnus Bordewick in motion around the world whilst filming for the eponymous "Magnus": his latest web part (that just came out!) for Adidas, filmed and edited by Chris Mulhern. Today is Sunday: let's give our senses some rest with a smaller selection of photos than what you might have got used to already. We're still going to Seoul, though; just for a very short stint, as the main purpose of the trip was to skate demos... Although of course, that didn't stop Magnus from being productive in the streets, as the very last photo in the present gallery (and his performances in the edit itself) can attest!

"MAGNUS" / Tokyo

Fourth installment in the series of Zander Taketomo's photo galleries pertaining to Magnus Bordewick's filming trips all across the world in the company of Chris Mulhern and his trustworthy video camera happens to be devoted to, literally, the Eastern Capital: Tokyo Metropolis. For more still glimpses of exotic destinations, the ground of which was covered by the effervescent trio, make sure to check the past three photo galleries; stay tuned for even more, and in the meantime, do yourself a favor by going back to yesterday's update to watch the resulting video piece for Adidas, appropriately entitled "Magnus"!

"Magnus"

Our series of photo galleries by Zander Taketomo should have warned you, while also establishing a sure fetish for about anything that can be slightly tilted on top of a skull, for Mister Bordewick… But, here, said guy establishes a complete control over that ill street skating style we dig, mixing perfectly both tech and raw… Yep, Magnus has arrived!

"MAGNUS" / Mallorca

Third episode in the "Magnus" series recounting the adventures of the eponymous Norwegian, Herr Bordewick, around the world on a mission to film for Chris Mulhern's new project, for Adidas... Today, it is to Mallorca that the pair is taking not just us, but also - and again, and again! - the restless photographer, Zander Taketomo. Now, the concrete urban landscapes are scaling away for just long enough to reveal a quieter scenery of beach fronts, classic Mediterranean back alleys and, more generally, poetry tuned to a different frequency... For now, that is!

"MAGNUS" / Taipei

Next stop: Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan, for a Magnus Bordewick still under the sharp scrutinity of Chris Mulhern's and Zander Taketomo's lenses, on video and photo duties respectively. Recently, LIVE Skateboard Media was recounting their latest Philly adventures to you, with great help from Zander's impeccable photography and some words from Herr Bordewick; now, let's focus on the next chapter of the story...

"MAGNUS" / Philadelphia

Magnus Bordewick, you very certainly remember his name from the killer independent video from Norway, "Firetre", or maybe from the more recent "Tigerstaden"... Well, as of late, he's been hanging out with Chris Mulhern, closely enough for them to craft a video part together for Adidas, a magnum opus of sorts entitled "Magnus", just about to drop online. LIVE Skateboard Media's got you prepared for the imminent impact, by the means of Zander Taketomo's impeccable photography.
