Marca Barbier

Enfer, oui!

Augustin Giovannoni returns with "Hell yeah" and in addition to being the title of the video, it is surely also what we all had to shout at the end of the viewing. We know the talent of the guy behind the camera, with his many videos and more recently the famous "Live Sb Report". In fact, today Augustin is the eye that immortalizes the best the Parisian skateboarding in recent years. On the menu we have the right to more or less all the Paris scene igniting the asphalt of the capital. Simple effective, hard to find a better menu.

Buddy cam

Obviously, when the friends in question are Marca Barbier, Tom O'Reilly or Ibu Laflem, immediately the video takes another dimension. "Sphinx" born from a trip to Athens, is a real combination of styles all incredible in their own way. All ready to commit on anything, especially spots in front of which people would not stop. In short, here are the images of a generation full of creativity, and carefree with this good dose of madness. True kids stuff!

The route of all spots

The principle is quite simple, a small French team and a Phil Zwijen as bonus (sacred bonus) went on a trip from Paris to Lyon via Lille, Tours and Clermont-Ferrand to discover spots almost unknown to the general public, in short, an alternative route (itiniéraire bis) to the good skate video. With Marca Barbier, Hugo Corbin, Matt Débauché, Santiago Sasson and the extravagant Hadrien Haverland (that we unfortunately rarely have the opportunity to admire in this kind of videos), we must obviously expect a big dose of good mood, which really put forward in the Raw cuts. And to immortalize this atmosphere and this skateboarding style that breathes creativity who is a better choice than Olivier Fanchon? We just need some nice guests like Jo Dezecot or Jérémie Daclin for it to be perfect ...

Bigger Spin / EP 003 - Marca Barbier

Marc-Alexandre is a compromise between two possibilities: Marc or Alexandre? Eventually, everything will come together under the moniker of Marc-A, or Marca for short. We've been keeping an eye on the twenty-year-old for a bit; he is dedicated, nice, creative, baggy-sportin' as to better highlight that 99.4% of his skate shoes - ever - have been Stefan Janoskis. Here's a quick pictural display of the young man's subjects of choice as tackled on his recent appearance on the Big Spin.

Troubled youth?

Nah, the Cinquième Terrasse kids are a good bunch, and their recent visit in Paris only proved it more… Good kids, we tell ya!

Big Spin / Marca Barbier

The French podcast ya need, with the kid we dig in Paris!

Marc-A 'lert!

Where our very own Marc-A follows a few renown British skater to South Africa, to see what is going on there… Oh, and he rips a few spots, there, the way he knows how!

cou-cou lol

Meanwhile in Paris, any quasi-Spring like day sees every nose pop out of the always dreaded beanie/scarf/hoodie combo, full of young hope… And it is a beautiful sight, we tell ya!

Nonni, da best-of!

At least of his favorite moments of 2017, from République to Praha, with his homies and new friends made on the road… Augustin is LIVE, we tell ya'!

Zehn Jahren!

Ten years already! Ten years of the Benchmark, the comp created by Nozbone, the undeniable Parisian skateshop for a while, now… In order to celebrate, they are associating with their Berlin colleagues of Civilist, and are even heading there this week-end, while the Paris date is set on the 24th of September. All announced by a dope little edit of both teams meeting up in the streets!

Jeunes de maintenant

If you ever wonder what might be happening these days in Paris, young Augustin Giovannoni should be your best bet… Proof here, in moving images, with a nice little postcard resulting from his recent adventures. And, if you want to know more, from now on, you will be able to follow the #liveSBreport!

Marc-A Barbier "Safe"

If you've been skating in Paris, regularly or on a trip, you will not have missed Marc-Alexandre, or "Marc-A" as everybody calls him. He's on point, to say the least, and has been for a few years now, despite his young age, and it should not change anytime soon. One will note his personal approach of the spot, whatever it might be, and skills when it comes to flip his board, whenever he sees fit… Yup, we dig him, and this is why we decided to send Augustin his way to produce this part.
