Tom Remillard

Pale grey eyes

The Grey Area Polish homies are back, still with O.G. Kuba Kaczmarczyk (interviewed here, in company of recent Danny Fuenzalida footage) at the wheel, driving in an audiovisual style that seemingly gets more refined with every new output. In addition to the local cities of Warsaw and Kraków, and of a chunk of Ukraine, the filmmaker's territory now also expands to Croatia where he notably connected with Tom Remillard at various editions of the Vladimir Film Festival; so of course, Tom has a full part (or two) in this new production, alongside the notorious Kraków Kids (interviewed here) Kuba Brniak, Michal Zarzycki and Franek Kramarczyk, but also Eniz Fazliov, Michal Juras, Didrik Galasso or Chilian talent Juan Jose Moraga. The spots are crazy, the tricks are quality, the rain is universal: a solid bite into some healthy, savory grey fruit, as usual. De-La-Torre!

The guy you want to have with you, whenever, wherever!

Herrington alert!

How about a solid dose of Aaron Herrington!? Not sure who would refuse… Here he is around the planet, from the latest Converse Cons world tour, with Tom Remillard as a sparing partner. And the two do complete each other quite well, with quite the aggro approach whatever the terrain might be… Something to keep us waiting for the Polar video? Wait, it seems like I have written that previous sentence before, haven't I?

Buddies

This could be the ideal "buddies get on the road" scenario, from the Oregon parks to the spots found behind the bankrupt supermarket, with the little difference that the back row is packed with a great selection of the new generation from Stevie Perez to Dan Plunkett, with the few OGs that still charge like Peter Hewitt… And it looks like they all learned tricks from one another!

Lifting

You might have missed his part in the TWS video, or had forgotten about it since, but to celebrate his newly pro status, Tom Remillard gets the hip-hop remix treatment! That should get you amped to try a bit harder in the "big transitions" side of the park, during this rainy weekend…

Dr Street

Let's say that with that kind of casting, you cannot really go wrong, but let's note the slow metamorphosis of Mike Anderson into Jason Jessee, and mainly the return to fine form of Doctor Z, or Mister Bassett, who seems to go through a second youth since his switch to Expedition One and Converse! That kickflip, now, come on! Dare we say it has something "Cardielesque"!?

That's it!

If you've never felt at home on large concrete transitions, this Tom Remillard montage might be the best flight simulator you'll find on the market these days!
