Kevin Ozcan

Yes we Ozcan

From the mind and screen of Macéo Moreau (whose own skateboarding prowess LIVE has repped quite a few times in the past), this edit of footage of various urban locations orchestrated by Kevin Ozcan's talents - that recently earned him the cover of the latest issue of Déjà Vu Skatemag - just dropped, and it hits hard. Kevin's skateboarding is as surprising as it is gnarly, and so are his spots; a picture only sublimed by some nimble Sony VX-1000 maneuvering and quite the tasteful editing. Any skate clip urging you to turn the volume up instead of down in the year twenty twenty is remarkable, but this particular one especially owes that designation to how brimming it is with motivation of a type that's probably infectious...

Ba-Singha!

Quentin Delebecque - aka. Mr. Singha on the Instagrams and YouTubes - just dropped a smash hit with "LES ZINVAHISSEURS", just short of ten minutes of Parisian VX-1000 brimming with brillance, but also humor. The roster is as colorful as it gets, with plenty of unique profiles you wouldn't expect to ever share a timeline yet just so happen to do it so well; it notably comprises Elson Patrick and Auguste Fenez (the same duo behind "JARDIN D'HIVER"), Tyrone O'Hanrahan does not seem to mind Léo Spartacus' or Paul Gallelli's company whatsoever, and Masaki Ui goes in with what's got to be the crooked bonk of the year - complete with crazy outraged pedestrians.

LIVE can only encourage you - again - to look into Quentin's YouTube channel as it's chockful of quality productions, including this great edit of Lille O.G.: Olivier "Tavu" Ente (as of today, strong of a grand total of fifty views; make sure to also check out Tavu's Instagram feed), or "CUSTOM", Quentin's former video - which we somehow managed to miss sharing around the time of its release last winter, but to this day remains well worth your time.

Blobys alert!

"Quoi de neuf à Paris?" Well, a lot of stuff, but most importantly, the Blobys are back! We can see that lately the beautiful French capital has been returned from top to bottom, and not only by locals. Filmed and edited by Hadrien Buhannic, this video brings together an amazing list amazing of skaters. Almost all the Parisian scene is present and the youth is particularly well represented with among others Auguste Bouznad who shone lately in the Mômes videos or Amiel Kornicki. In terms of foreign connections there are obviously as usual Heitor Da Silva and Gunes Özdogan, but what a pleasure to see Filip Almqvist and his fluid style again since the Das Days. If not, is it necessary to remember how well Karl Salah, Roman Gonzales and the rest of the crew master the discipline? Nothing to say, nine minutes of pure happiness, of pure skating in Paris.

"ERORI" / WASTED / PREMIERE

"ERORI" is the name of the new Wasted video, filmed over about ten days whilst on a trip to Zaragoza, Spain. LIVE here, and now!

The great Olivier Fanchon was in charge of the editing, and found some time to spare to present his newborn to you in a few paragraphs, just below...

Troubled youth?

Nah, the Cinquième Terrasse kids are a good bunch, and their recent visit in Paris only proved it more… Good kids, we tell ya!

City perspective

"Triptych", the new book from the De Paris Yearbook camp is now available in all places with a bit of good taste, and to celebrate it –as well as the 20th anniversary of the first Paris Metrospective in 411 video magazine– they offer here a nice selection of more underground skaters than the ones you attach the French capitol to, which does not mean they lack in skills, nor contribute vastly to the local scene…
