Neil Smith

Again and again

Well, here is the perfect follow-up to the "Safe" part and Marc-A Barbier 's interview, since he manages some cool featurings in this super Londonian edit… From Kyron Davis to Korahn Gayle, pretty much all sides of Oh So British skate styles are well represented, here. Oh, and one should spot that promising young man that goes by the name of Gillet.

Blip, blip!

A great follow-up to the recent Hockey promo, produced by Grey skate mag: follow the adventures of  Donovon Piscopo and John Fitzgerald around London with their British colleagues!

Jensen alert!

So, it appears we almost missed a nick Jensen edit, and one where he skates bare chested to hip-hop!?? Pfff, that was close, and it would have been a shame, as it is gold…

Brady alert!

Skateshops are also measured on their team, and Slam's is no joke! Proof here with notably a Danny Brady that shows that his Palace TM hours are mostly spent in London streets…

No Promo 15

They are announcing a full-length, which would already be a fair enough reason to rejoice, but we'll use the excuse to also celebrate the fact that our very own and national Greg Cuadrado is now part of the gang!

NESW UK / South / Premiere

Once again a Live exclusive, the video side of the NESW project keeps on unveiling –while the book edited by Henry Kingsford is still to come– showcasing the United Kingdom as seen by the local Nike SB riders… Here you shouldn't be too disorientated, since the South episode focuses on London, a city we often mention here. Still, most spots will not be familiar looking at all, which is a plus. And careful to not spit your hot cocoa through your nose when you'll be exposed to Tom Harrison final ollie!

NESW UK / East / Premiere

An important print project put together by Henry Kingsford –which you know for his Grey work–, NESW is also happening in the form of four edits each starring an area of one of the most dynamic and scrutinized scenes in Europe, for decades now… The second episode focusing on the East of the United Kingdom, is now exclusively on Live, showing sea shore spots under heavy skies and a DIY that would make you wish for rain. Yes, this is truly a seasonal edit, and it is for your eyes only!

East bound…

Warsaw is not part of those expected destinations, but the local videos have taught us things are happening there… So, The National had to go pay a visit, considering its local connections! Yep, it is grey, but that didn't seem to stop him from having a laugh!

Old guard

No after-black hammer here, sorry… Then again, Joel O'Connor's line is worth a round or two at the pub, if you ask us! And this is the best part of this edit: the sight of the different London generations sessionning together and influencing each other. Most likely one of the greatest traits of the local scene, and of the whole British scene, from our experience.

National anthem

So The National is the second brand to start these days to fly high the colors of a "so british" type of skateboarding, and this first promo is promising, with the return on our screen of Neil Smith in a slightly less stuntman version, or so it seems… Oh, waut, nope. Also a team with both Danijel Stankovic and David Mackey onboard gets full repect around here! Yep.
