Clusterfuck!

Bad puns aside, Yeadihael Canat gives us news of a good chunk of those haunting the streets and the nights of Paris… And, yes, they all did catch it at some point!

Make sure not to miss the man's former video, too complete with its emoji-heavy title, here!

Film Trucks / "INTO THE WILD SUNDAY"

"INTO THE WILD SUNDAY" is a yearly initiative by Jérémie Daclin - the longtime Lyon, France and worldwide activist, formerly via Cliché Skateboards and currently via Film Trucks (a brand already strong of quite the video output, always involving la crème de la crème of locals everywhere and on both ends of the camera, that is). A secret spot somewhere in the South of Lyon, a lengthy list of associates that isn't just for business calls and boom: there goes the recipe for an invite-only weekend treating a selection of the most active shops in their area with some chill vibes in the French countryside, also making for an opportunity to discuss around some solid skateboarding and sustainance as opposed to through the untangible frequencies of pseudo-connected technology.

Even though, last year, this event that's only really one on the human level (which just so happens to be the one that matters) couldn't take place due to some wet weather, this time it did occur, as this video recap by Vendôme O.G. Hugo Bernatas and photo gallery by renowned curve appreciator Loïc Benoit both testify.

And the shops who earned their rights to this summer weekend this time were the whole ABS Skateshop family (Lyon, Grenoble, Annecy), but also L'Appart Skateshop from Saint-Etienne and of course, Wall Street. Just as many operations that, to this day, remain crucial to their respective local scenes and are thus worthy of your support!

"NANTESLAJOLIE" / HY Skatebag / PREMIERE

The mighty fine, youthful roster of HY Skatebag, the French brand LIVE has already been featuring quite a few times upon the respective releases of video productions such as "PAR-HY" or "PLUS BELLE LA HY" (we even interviewed one of its C.E.O.'s, Paul Austin, here), is back on your screens y'all, and once again thanks to the filmmaking talents of Julien Dellion who just so happens to live in Nantes, France - and that's exactly where the whole plot takes place this time, for the entire duration of the seven minutes this new edit runs for.

Answered the call of the board, in addition to Paul himself: Alex Richard, P.J. Chapuis, Victor Campillo, Florian Merten, Matisse Banc, Victor Cascarigny and Fred Plocque-Santos aka. Yeah Le Yeah... But not just 'em:

"The original idea was to go and skate a city that's notoriously under the mainstream radar.

Julien Dellion lives in Nantes, so picking the destination was easy! And we even managed to get a Thibaud Fradin clip!" - Paul Austin

2ND CCD

Jimmy Larkz of Trois CCD, we've introduced you to his works before here and there, both times exquisite stuff and to that rule, "2ND" isn't the exception yet as this new piece consists in no less than fifteen minutes of authentic (and quality) Parisian VX-1000, only waiting for your click to start cuddling your irises. Oh and where to start, regarding the roster involved...

Garçons Perdus

"Garçons Perdus" is the name of Toulouse, France-Based filmmaker Quentin Sarda's new video clip, assisted by Reda Taoussi (whom we've introduced to you before, most notably first here and then here). Their motto hasn't changed one bit: street skating, under the banner of Reda's garment company that he runs with his twin brother Amine: Lostboys88. The editing of this new piece is divided into three chapters, the pacing of which is strongly marked by flashes of strong visual identity, acted sequences and pink city stunts by Victor Cascarigny, Lucas Puig, Andy White, Seb Simon and a whole bunch of other local heads.

"Plus Belle La HY" / PREMIERE

If you regularly read LIVE Skateboard Media or just follow the French underground skate scene in general, then you should be familiar with the entity or at least the name HY Skate Bag; LIVE even interviewed Paul Austin about the brand and its previous video offering "Par HY", a few months back. "Plus Belle La HY" is - you guessed it - the title of their newest one, featuring Constantin Delmas, Fred Plocque-Santos, Pierre Leze, Pako Pion, Matt Débauché, Antoine Roussel, Léo Cholet, Florian Merten, PJ Chapuis, Victor Cascarigny, Matisse Banc, Nassim Lachab, Ben Raitano, Victor Campillo, Leezola and Paul himself (small roster...), hereby documented on a week-long skate holiday to Marseille. And just as it sounds like we could all use this type of sun ray sometime, the aforementioned Paul Himself decide to contribute to the warmth by chiming in!
