Jimmy Larkz

2ND CCD

Jimmy Larkz of Trois CCD, we've introduced you to his works before here and there, both times exquisite stuff and to that rule, "2ND" isn't the exception yet as this new piece consists in no less than fifteen minutes of authentic (and quality) Parisian VX-1000, only waiting for your click to start cuddling your irises. Oh and where to start, regarding the roster involved...

Max's tip: "MERLOT"

Max Guyot (interviewed on the topic of his video "BROTHERHOOD" filmed in Nancy and Paris, here) most definitely knows what's up as he was the first to bring "MERLOT" to LIVE's attention - that is, two whole hours before its author could even find the time to e-mail us the link!

So, this "MERLOT" tastes like forty strong minutes of San Francisco brillance, equally brillantly collected by Ryan Flores featuring, on the other side of the lens, la crème de la crème of the modern local scene: Jameel Douglas (whose Parisian peregrinations you might remember from here) wraps up no less than a part in the pure tradition of the genre, then followed by the likes of Chris Athans, Ryan Barlow, Jesse Narvaez, Tom Farrell, James Sayres, Alex Greemann or Harry Hafner, amongst others, dotting the timeline... Even some classy visitors showed up: Léo Valls, Connor Kammerer, Jimmy Larkz or César Dubroca too are in, and that's without even counting Tobin Valverde, Kyle Cielencki (to get more familiar with here), Justin Henry, Simon Isaksson, and even renowned filmers such as Zach Chamberlin and Brett Nichols who both broke free from the record button for a minute. And then more, with Evan Collison and finally Cody Rosenthal, who completes an eventual picture that's vibrant of many a color, style and spot (all read with science, those ones).

"MERLOT" is the result of years worth of skating and filming; it is therefore only logical that its aromas feel so fine and sweet, with a punchy aftertaste to boot!

So, will you be grabbing that bottle or what?...

Silver 3CCD

Nozbonian Parisian Jimmy Larkz's latest VX-1000 adventure had resulted in a clip we eventually presented to you a while back, here; establishing who was the name behind TroisCCD. Well some months later, said dude is back, and with tales of San Francisco to recount as that's where he recently went to film this new edit: "Silver Surfer", seven minutes and forty seconds of all killer, no filler City footage, embellished via some catchy aesthetics and an appropriately fast pacing. Skylar Trent is the M.V.P. but Jimmy's friends, be them French transplants or locals (Adrien Chabiron, Nile Gibbs, Ian Wishart, Nick Rapoza, Lucas Languasco, César Dubroca, Wilfried Mandereau, Eden Withers-Koch, Max Driscoll, Joshua Marques), all very well earned their rent. The velocity and aggression might remind you of some of the most classic S.F. footage from the arguably "golden era" of the local skateboarding.

CCD Warriors!

Trois CCD is the brainchild of that one Nozbone employee consisting in boiling hot parisian VX-1000, handled in due form. An initiative to follow as skateboarding-wise, the man is friends with some rippers comprising the likes of Kristian Westh, Pierre Subra, Ambroise Fardel, the ever-so-impeccable Graham Thoms, the ever-so-young Yann Garin, the ever-so-Lucas Languasco Lucas Languasco, the ever-so-present Simon Perrottet, Hugo Corbin, Adrien Chabiron and César Dubroca. The  urban landscape of the City of Lights is utilized to its fullest potential, and so are Jimmy's three see-see-dee's, capturing everything with a dynamism that translates all the way over and into the funny editing. Keep your eyes on them guys!
