Simon Perrottet

Let's rock!

We already warned you whilst presenting "SUGUS": "GRRRND ZERO" is the new project by Julien Paccard, already the author of "COLOR FOOLS" which LIVE broadcasted half a decade ago, no less. Now, we're talking about an audiovisual production in the most literal sense of the term as in addition to the skate footage, the soundtrack is also home-made by Tommy Buder, and the multimedia aspect of the whole deal also takes a new dimension in how the focus is over the patient documentation of the textures skateboarders use and abuse, over an emphasis on individual prowess with little room for context. In every clip (because yes, this is a series), everybody just skates together - with the type of surface glided over as one common denominator.

Today, we're featuring "ROCK", the clip with an emphasis on, well, stone textures. In between many a performer, the wisest of watchers will instantly recognize Dino Coce, whose part in "TABULA RASA" LIVE presented here a few weeks back - DVD's are still available - beanplanting around Berlin. But Julien has been dropping some others too - respectively dedicated to mosaic, wood and marble spots - and is about to release more on his personal website, daily, throughout this whole week. So keep your eyes peeled!

CCD Warriors!

Trois CCD is the brainchild of that one Nozbone employee consisting in boiling hot parisian VX-1000, handled in due form. An initiative to follow as skateboarding-wise, the man is friends with some rippers comprising the likes of Kristian Westh, Pierre Subra, Ambroise Fardel, the ever-so-impeccable Graham Thoms, the ever-so-young Yann Garin, the ever-so-Lucas Languasco Lucas Languasco, the ever-so-present Simon Perrottet, Hugo Corbin, Adrien Chabiron and César Dubroca. The  urban landscape of the City of Lights is utilized to its fullest potential, and so are Jimmy's three see-see-dee's, capturing everything with a dynamism that translates all the way over and into the funny editing. Keep your eyes on them guys!

At two hundred and forty two percent

These days we are far from idle on the side of 242 skatehop. For many of us, Jordan Queijo’s part is still on our heads, and now they are giving us a great dose of Swiss banger with Simon Perrottet. With him you know what to expect, pop, beautiful lines, and especially cleanliness, a lot!

Jof's tip: "Coolpix"!

"Check the new edit from Cinquième Terrasse, if you haven't spotted it, it's great! Especially that lil' Nico kid, he knows when and where to throw down!" When Joffrey Morel texts you a tip, you follow it, so do yourself a favor, do just like us, and enjoy a nice edit mixing skaters from France and Switzerland that make it look nice, wether you've heard of them or not (yet)!

Levitation

We told you about the Geneva based "7 Edits night" recently, and the Faust heads are releasing the edit they produced for it with Redline Films. Great skating as you would expect from our Helvetian neighbors: tech without falling into the circus category, and a vast and varied selection of spots. It's happening over there, we tell you!

Sebba's tip!

When someone who has been skating for around thirty years tells you to check out some young bucks edit, you sure do! Realize this is the LFE crew he's taking about, and you get ready from some serious shredding from both sides of the Franco-Swiss border. With an ever full of pop Jordan Queijo!

Swiss Exposure / PREMIERE

For the past five years, Julien Januszkiewicz has been living between his beloved Bordeaux and Switzerland, which has allowed him to add many new friends from the other side of the lake to his Bordeaux Exposure.full-lengths. Already working on the next one, he takes time here to put together a nice little remix of his footage from Switzerland, which doubles up as a Who's Who of a scene we often cover, here. One of those that is way more active than we hear about. So, Thanks, Julien, for this PREMIERE!

Faust in Valencia / PREMIERE

Well, our Helvetian brothers have been quite busy, lately, haven't they? And the Faust skate co are not the kind to lag behind. They opted for the "let's escape to Spain" plan, with Valencia as their destination… A decision fully fitting their SwissTech™, especially when it comes to that now famous antic looking ledge galore place. Good times for them, and a damn good watch for us, as a LIVE exclusive for the day!

No Filter

Switzerland is in the house, thanks to the OG2000 heads! And they don't falsely claim the "Fine Équipe" moniker either… They skate hard, but you can also feel the fun and laughs that lead there, with the whole crew in tow! Take a seat, you are in for heavy meal!

And if you would want to know more about the whole gang, just ask Luc Boimond!

Bonus time!

Here to a great start of the week, with a little tour of cities that always make you daydream, with quite the selection of locals, each time, thanks to Bordeaux Exposure and the always motivated Julien Januszkiewicz! From Jordan Queijo to Gauthier Rouger, perfect!

OG LYFE

Let's catch up with our favorite Swiss crew, with a new edit that is "modern rap" to the tilt, and full of that good skating they got us used it! Don't take the rap comment badly, guys, we love you… Plus, this will keep you waiting for the up-coming Luc Boimond interview and new part!

LFE 2016

The young Geneva squad is back ripping as they always do! Throw in there in there also what appears to be a new spot that is completely crazy!
