Josh Pall

Josh Pall / Interview

If Josh Pall's name isn't without ringing a bell to you, it's probably not because you're associating it with the latest social media 'story' of that one guy puking his guts out on the streets last night, nor because you can still recite the entirety of the contents of his latest box from his jeans sponsor that he just opened in front of a crowd of Snapchat strangers. In fact Josh is more of the discreet type, who might as well just show up unexpected and tear a spot apart - a skate tendency exemplified in the (quality) Pass~Port video offerings.

Indeed, Josh skates fast - too fast for one to scrutinize over his haircut in a clip - and that's regardless of how rugged said spot it, as he'll still come up with a quirky utilization for it, and charge towards it via more pushes than most. Keeping skateboarding impeccable!

As a continuation from yesterday's video post comprising the clip celebrating an immiment Carhartt x Pass~Port collection, here's some words we got to exchange with Josh, just in time for its launch in Paris, tomorrow.

Way over there…

When one thinks about Australia, the two names that first pop in mind are Sydney and Melbourne… Which could be described as a grain of sand in a rather vast local desert. In order to celebrate their new collab' with Carhartt, the Pass-Port super locals  decided to leave the beaten paths and head over the middle of nowhere, which left them a few options… And, yes, they did go to the least populated area of the country / continent: the Northern Territories, mostly know for that one big red rock thingy: Uluru. And trust them for making the most of the rather arid area! This is the perfect quick-start for your week, and a little waring before more tomorrow, and an event in Paris on Wednesday, if you are in town!

A real sharp Pass-Port!

They had warned us in their most recent edit, but this time it is official: our favorite Australians have gone full HD! But, fear not that is about all that has changed: they still shred about anything in their path, in high spirits but laid-back manner, and the Athens streets sure can attest to that. We will note a Josh Pall in great form, on top of that!

Tav' alert!

So, the actual idea that Remy Taveira might fucking talented on a skateboard comes as no scoop, that's for sure… But this Guillaume Perimony project for Carhartt WIP raises the bar quite high in the "Great part form Remy" category! And, for this one he's got a supporting cast that adds up seriously, as nobody seems into staying in the shadows. Let's notably note the Classiest Australian in the World, Josh Pall. Yep, this is very sick and perfect to kick off the week-end!

The card

Decidedly, they got it all figured out at Pass-Port… From Josh Pall to Callum Paul, they do have all bases of pure class covered!

Under the paving…

French artist Raphael Zarka and the Carhartt team explore together options and limitations (or not) space has to offer, through a series of his sculptures… A conversation where each feeds from one another, to go through the labyrinth of possibilities…

Hothothot!!!

The Pass-port heads in New York… Where do we sign? Yep, they came through big time, proof that those Australians did not spend their whole stay at the coolest watering holes of Wiliamsburg!

Toky-Oz

Two weeks in Tokyo for our favorite Australians? Yep, they did visit the regular spots and –strangely enough– have managed to drive the local security insane, but also managed to skate many places that we have never seen before, and with their own take on it, also. This is definitely a great one to get yourself in the mood for an eventful week-end!

Charles' tip: "Sack of Spuds"!

"The compilation to watch before going skating or, at the worst, to play at the end of your school dance!" And a great Who's Who of Australian skateboarding…

Charles' tip: Josh Pall!

"This could be the part Australian winter! Chances to get fucked on that last trick are high, am I right?" In case you were not in the known, Josh Pall is a certain idea of pure class. Proof, here!

Chima Fergusson, or the proof that having a place to localize is a beautiful thing… Still waiting for the Vans video!

"Atom"

Ben Chadourne did not disappoint with this first •Atom edit, but we never doubted him, to be truthful! He has a mean casting, and with a mini Guillaume Dulout part in there, you have all you could ask for to end a Sunday! Can't wait for the follow-up!
