Mark Del Negro

(215-)867-5309

For those of you still hungry for Theories of Atlantis content despite the very recent drop of the first ever Picture Show Studios montage by Josh Stewart, this time, it is filmer Jake Todd's turn to present "DIAL 215" for wheel brand Dial Tone (also brillantly backed up in the task by a handful of colleagues). Here, we're talking four minutes worth of VX-1000 featuring Philadelphia as the portrayed playground of choice, and canvas-meets-punching bag for talents such as Mark Del Negro, Neil Herrick, Kris Brown but also Kevin Liedtke and Tyler Dietterich, apparently not tired in the slightest from their performance in the aforementioned Picture Show edit. And then there's a new addition to the crew: Shawn Macmillan, the new am for Dial Tone, straight out of Boston. The whole piece is really well made and one can only notice how, in the year twenty twenty and despite many comparable miles under the trunk, KRS-One's conscious rap is still as fitting as ever when it comes to complementing the noise skateboards are known to make!

Into The Sun

This Monday's delight is courtesy of no other than Josh Stewart, who should no longer need an introduction (and LIVE has arguably done its share to spread the knowledge, too!), but always seems to surprise and here, it's under the form of a new Hopps edit that he's doing it. In fact, Jahmal Williams's brand just welcomed some new ams and thus, quite logically, this new piece features such heads as Joseph Delgado or Elijah Cole coherently intertwined with footage of, say, Mark Del Negro, Dustin Eggeling, Steve Brandi and even Jahmal himself, still out there and going strong from the looks of it!

Unknown Artist - Track 04

The fourth installment in "Untitled", Chris Mulhern's series of web clips for Alien Workshop, just came out via TransWorld and consists in ten minutes of skateboarding in and around Philadelphia with notably a full part for Yaje Popson, creatives lines by Mark Del Negro, swift ledge moves from Kevin Liedtke, and more stylish eccentricities authored by Kris Brown and Joey O'Brien. Optimal spot utilization, original maneuvers galore and the type of style that can't be sold!

Son of Love

Mark Del Negro is one hell of a product of his environment… From impeccable technique, even on precarious terrain, to complex lines in style, one could draw a family tree of East Coast skateboarding, from Love Park slabs to those Jersey barriers. A perfect young man, especially on Hopps!

La Pause Café

A perfect mood for an October Sunday, but mainly some smooth tech galore in Paris, in between tourists with good taste, the always on point Karl Salah as the local, and a great surpise with Stephen Khou! Yep, this one is "100" as they say in the streets…

Mark Del Negro!

Rough grounds, clean tricks properly flipped: this all you want to see!
