Kenny Reed

"CLOSURE"

When Dan Wolfe himself uploads "CLOSURE", the legendary full-length video recap of his filmmaking career - between 1993 and 2003, precisely - with the best clips he ever filmed for classic releases such as "EASTERN EXPOSURE" and "REAL TO REEL" paired up with a lot of never-before-seen footage, with a healthy dose of S.F. in the mix as well, in the original quality and even clickable chapters, every man's quarantine is bound to suddenly get a lot smoother!

We'll also take the opportunity to link to the man's interview by Eric Swisher of Chrome Ball Incident, from the yesteryear. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and doses of culture can only be beneficial to one's immune system!

Oldies but goldies

A great look-back, with footage from the years 00's in San Francisco, and not just any, with a great triumvirate of those times, IE young Kenny Reed and Cairo Foster about to get their name out, and a Satva Leung already established as the tech and stylish Toy Machine am. So, yep, lines that would still be relevant on the local hills, and a Hubba Hide-Out sesh that should put a few things in perspective.

Vintage Kennys

Flashback from times were things were simpler (that's to be confirmed, to be hontest!) and a guy named Kenny Hughes had "that thing"!

Voyage, voyage

Patrik Wallner has been developing his personal style in a very steady way, for a while, now, in between improbable travels, "forbidden" frontiers and a great documentation of the tourists skating, but he reaches here another level of his art, by telling more than the story of a band of buddies sharing cigarettes through a night in a train that nobody is sure of if it has a destination anymore… An eclectic group, an home-coming story of sorts, incredible skating: it's all here, and if you should show a skateboard video to someone that has no interest in it, well, this is Persian Version you should think of. Nothing else…

best & worst: Cairo Foster

A new feature, to poke the brain of our favorite skateboarders, and learn a bit more about them? Starting with Cairo seemed like a good idea!
