Eric Koston

"CLOSURE"

When Dan Wolfe himself uploads "CLOSURE", the legendary full-length video recap of his filmmaking career - between 1993 and 2003, precisely - with the best clips he ever filmed for classic releases such as "EASTERN EXPOSURE" and "REAL TO REEL" paired up with a lot of never-before-seen footage, with a healthy dose of S.F. in the mix as well, in the original quality and even clickable chapters, every man's quarantine is bound to suddenly get a lot smoother!

We'll also take the opportunity to link to the man's interview by Eric Swisher of Chrome Ball Incident, from the yesteryear. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and doses of culture can only be beneficial to one's immune system!

JAP.an

When it comes down to raw skating, Soulland knows what's up! So, typhoon or not, you know those Japanese streets are not safe in any way, and especially not from the raw tech those guys are capable of… Pools, ledges, crappy wooden ramps, it's all good!

Fri-ed!

Just the backside flip grab would enough to fuel a week or two of debates, but before all, once again, Soulland drops another edit that really, really gets you hyped to skate, even when filmed deep in the Scandinavian autumn…

Butcherland!

How about some Touzery on Buccheri's turf? Head this way, please. Plus the rest of the crew isn't half bad, either.

Le cas Durao… (suite)

This young man file just got a lot thicker, with could go down in history as "the tallest line ever", followed by the perfect switch frontside heel… That could almost make us forget that Rodrigo still is at the very top of his game, or that (our favourite) Kyron just joined the team. All this being treated with a ghost town vibe in a metroplis can be a bit eerie at times.

Interview / Guy Mariano

Even in an era many seem prone to associate with notoriously short attention spans, you'd still be hard pressed to run into a skateboarder unaware of Guy Mariano's legacy…

King Puppy

Some new Strobeck, as we all dig it: all fresh and cool, if not cooler than that, with notably our very own Touzery that is not afraid to kickflip trees here, and the ATV Taylor whose versatility just never fail to please the eye… Oh, and who else can put together an edit about one pair of shoes featuring two guys wearing another pair of shoes?

You got soul

Well, as everybody is talking about Copenhaguen, how about a tour of the city with Eric Koston and a crew of local colleagues? Care for th pitch of that very post modern edit co-produced by the Soulland heads? Well, everybody rips, but in the end Hjalte crushes everything and everybody… Surprised?

WKND-er

Even if his WKND stint is not supposed to be more than that, a stint, Eric Koston still digs skating with the team, his buddies, and that gives us the occasion to see the whole crew to go at it, on those Los Angeles spots that keeps on looking dreamy… If you do forget they are hours of drive from each others.

Your weekly Ishod dose!

True, we hadn't seen new footage of Mister Wair for a few hours, at least, and were starting to worry, almost! Luckily, a little trip to Puerto Rico with the Johnny Wilson crew gives him the chance to stretch his legs, while Cory Kennedy happens to steal the show!

Peek-A-Boo

This should get you hyped for the Chronicles Volume 3 premiere, and stands as a friendly reminder to the fact that everything can be a spot… Then again, when you are Cory Kennedy, it might come easier!

Chomp on that!

So the trilogy is complete: Man Down, Chomp Of This and now Boys of Summer… The Los Angeles 2015 All-Stars version of the "buddy cam" video juggles an amazing mix of generations and the perfect soundtrack. The "feel good movie"  of the winter, we tell you… *****
