LIVE has been sharing Julien Janusckiewicz's skate works since the very first "BORDEAUX EXPOSURE" back in 2013; in the meantime, the series has gotten itself a second chapter, a handful of one-offs such as "LEO AND SERGIO" or "SWISS EXPOSURE" and is now just about to take its next step, due next spring, as "BORDEAUX EXPOSURE 3" has been boiling in the pot for long enough to juice out this trailer. So, on the menu: mostly Bordeaux, but also a few grams of Paris, Milan, Geneva, Montpellier and Lyon for good measure, all repped by their respective locals. Talk about an appetizer!
Please feel free to explore Julien's Vimeo here and as far as words are concerned, you can also dive back into this vintage interview regarding the original installment in the series, to get familiar (again)!
The Cinquième Terrasse is one of the busiest and most active crews in Paris, even if we had not heard enough news lately. That's a smashing comeback with "TONY G" seven minutes of great skateboarding that goes way too fast for my taste. This video shows well that we are coming to a time when making the unique is worth as much, if not more, than doing the perfect. To skate a city in its own way is like showing the peculiarities that we perceive there and to highlight what we like in it. Paris under the gaze of the Cinquième Terrasse is really unique. They give off a crazy energy that is really personal to them. And when it comes to style, if Christian Hosoi validates it, you can imagine that it's not for nothing.
A look back on the big summer holidays our buddies from the other side of the mountains took, from Rotterdam to Prague, and Copenhagen. In full buddy movie mode, with zero stress, and you can feel the full coolness of all the seshs…
"Check the new edit from Cinquième Terrasse, if you haven't spotted it, it's great! Especially that lil' Nico kid, he knows when and where to throw down!" When Joffrey Morel texts you a tip, you follow it, so do yourself a favor, do just like us, and enjoy a nice edit mixing skaters from France and Switzerland that make it look nice, wether you've heard of them or not (yet)!
When someone who has been skating for around thirty years tells you to check out some young bucks edit, you sure do! Realize this is the LFE crew he's taking about, and you get ready from some serious shredding from both sides of the Franco-Swiss border. With an ever full of pop Jordan Queijo!
Another conceptual edit by our Helvetian good friends at OG2000, this time centered around a Manny character… We can't really tell you much more about him, but can confirm that once again they do that "real street" thing as they got us used to!
Switzerland is in the house, thanks to the OG2000 heads! And they don't falsely claim the "Fine Équipe" moniker either… They skate hard, but you can also feel the fun and laughs that lead there, with the whole crew in tow! Take a seat, you are in for heavy meal!
And if you would want to know more about the whole gang, just ask Luc Boimond!
Here to a great start of the week, with a little tour of cities that always make you daydream, with quite the selection of locals, each time, thanks to Bordeaux Exposure and the always motivated Julien Januszkiewicz! From Jordan Queijo to Gauthier Rouger, perfect!
Now, beware, heavy shit! Our favorite Swiss boys are already back, and and in full force, with a video obviously rich in SwissTech™, but also conceptual without ever losing its interest. A narrative that could remind you of Downtown 81, and car vandalism reaching contemporary art levels: OG2000 represent!
Let's catch up with our favorite Swiss crew, with a new edit that is "modern rap" to the tilt, and full of that good skating they got us used it! Don't take the rap comment badly, guys, we love you… Plus, this will keep you waiting for the up-coming Luc Boimond interview and new part!
"[…] A NYC edit by Guillaume Celian and the Fribourg heads. Real good stuff. I am a big Jérôme fan, hahaha… Almost as much as of Hjalte and Bobby!" And, yeah, this American trip from the Swiss crew was a success in both gathering dope lines and camo shopping…
