Gauthier Rouger

Louison Bobet Forever

The new video production courtesy of Louise Skateboards consists in no less than ten minutes of creative urban skate creative magic all assembled together via elbow grease and helium by Stéphane Feugas, high wire filmer extraordinaire who didn't fall asleep at the wheel of the editing either, as the final product is as meticulously crafted as the most suspect of devices. The devil went down to Bordeaux and Montpellier for the most part, Vincent Dallemagne technically wins the race but each and every of the numerous participants owns their individual merits. The general universe is as captivating as it is delirium tremens-inducing and should put a face on most faces or at the very least, get them out of the house!

Aka. Ser Superstar

Sergio Cadaré, without a doubt this planet's biggest ever Slick Rick fan, when not busy tattooing, officializes his stay on the DC Shoes team roster with an eponymous clip where his impeccable technique and west coast-influenced style really shine. But his two minutes of footage only are the introduction to what then turns out to be a full-fledged Bordeaux edit featuring a plethora of other faces, from Léo Valls to Benjamin Garcia, Nick Dias and even Tom Penny with a surprise appearance. Drew filmed it all, the titles are by Emilien Bonnet, the music notably by Simon Algéo and everything is dedicated to the memory of Adrien "Canardo" Blanc.

Minuit Exp. 3

Yoan Taillandier of Minuit fame and glory just came back to leave his yearly mark on your retinas via the web release of "MINUIT EXP. 3" (thus the sequel to "EXP. 1", "2" and really so much more skate video history): four minutes and some crumbs worth of the best maneuvered Sony VX-1000 in the game for over a decade now, and mostly Bordeaux-based action with, notably, footage of Futoshi Tokuyama's French vacation way back in 2015. Coincidentally making for the perfect Magenta-tinted transition to also point at this new Soy Panday Lyon clip by Bastien Regeste, here!

Bordeaux Exposure 3

After some recent, heavy teasing, there it is: the brand new, third installment in the "BORDEAUX EXPOSURE" series by Julien Januszkiewicz (whose works and character LIVE has been following since the inception of the series!), finally online in full for you to get to take a gander. Please expect no less than twenty five-minutes of urban skateboarding around Bordeaux, France, but not just that - as Julien also went to film a copious number of talented stylers' peregrinations through the streets of Paris, Milan, Geneva, Montpellier and Lyon. If the bite hits just the right spot, then you can always order the corresponding DVD from Palomino, for instance - or take a look at the soft goods and digital download combos Julien is offering on his website, as a way to thank him!

Oh and yeah - the second video is still up in full here for a revisit, or any need of catching up.

Bordeaux Exposure 3 trailer

LIVE has been sharing Julien Janusckiewicz's skate works since the very first "BORDEAUX EXPOSURE" back in 2013; in the meantime, the series has gotten itself a second chapter, a handful of one-offs such as "LEO AND SERGIO" or "SWISS EXPOSURE" and is now just about to take its next step, due next spring, as "BORDEAUX EXPOSURE 3" has been boiling in the pot for long enough to juice out this trailer. So, on the menu: mostly Bordeaux, but also a few grams of Paris, Milan, Geneva, Montpellier and Lyon for good measure, all repped by their respective locals. Talk about an appetizer!

Please feel free to explore Julien's Vimeo here and as far as words are concerned, you can also dive back into this vintage interview regarding the original installment in the series, to get familiar (again)!

Minuit Exp. 2

Yoan Taillandier's present for this end-of-the-year's festivities bears the title "MINUIT EXP. 2" and serves as the announcement of a new Minuit website soon to pop up, or so it seems. What we get is four minutes of his trademark, hard-hitting Sony VX-1000 signature style, here focused on some Bordeaux skateboarding of the 2015 vintage, only seeing the light of day just now. Lots o' Glen Fox, some visiting James Coleman, Lui Araki and James Whineray sprinkled through here and there, Olivier Ente repping the O.G.'s alongside Patrick Houngtry and, also, a rather strong Blobys presence.

Talking things James Coleman, let us invite you to take a look at "HOT PLATE", Marshall Nicholson's new video. And you can also follow Minuit on YouTube, here!

"DOOM FILES" / PREMIERE

Maybe you remember "Doomed Tapes", the Bordeaux full-length by transplant Pierre Patissou we presented to you alongside a few words from its author here, not that long ago.

"Doom Files" (or "Doomed Files"; we've been told both and are now completely lost) is its direct spiritual successor, still rooted in the same region, featuring many of the same heads. But it looks a lot different now as since "Doom Tapes", Pierre's VX-1000 died and it's now a HD set-up that keeps his heart beating...

Boum!

Das Days Paris, was not just a great week of events and reasons to gather together and share, it was also made of a lot, and we mean a lot of skateboarding… Proof here in moving pictures, and a great selection of European riders and motivated locals. Trust us, you will be sitting in front of your screen for long after this!

Titi power!

If you were not there last Friday at the opening of the Das Days in Paris, here is Thierry Gormit part for adidas. Must we really remind you how much Titi masters his board? I don’t think it's necessary… With Lucas Puig, Gauthier Rouger and Brayan Albarenga as guests, and Hadrien Buhannic behind the camera, what more could you ask for?

Blobys alert!

Where Kevin Rodrigues' masochism gets confirmed, while that guy Gauthier Rouger steals the show with one trick. Oh, yeah, Vincent Touzery really is a genius!

Bonus time!

Here to a great start of the week, with a little tour of cities that always make you daydream, with quite the selection of locals, each time, thanks to Bordeaux Exposure and the always motivated Julien Januszkiewicz! From Jordan Queijo to Gauthier Rouger, perfect!

Tinder-Dogs

Tinder Tour, Tinder Tour… For real, or? Will we ever get the goods on this? Most likely not, and who cares, anyway? What matters is that you get here to watch two completely different skaters, Gauthier Rouger and Bram de Cleen do their thing, and really well at that. As for the rest, we could care less…
