Giddy 11

Romain Batard, the French skate filmmaker LIVE really shouldn't have to introduce to you by now just on the basis of his longevity in the field, is back today with the eleventh chapter in his series-turned-saga "GIDDY" - and pretty clearly the most ambitious one that is, also including contributions from some equally prestigious video fiends, for a timeline just short of twenty minutes in total - but rest assured you won't catch a break!

On the menu: stunts from the usual suspects - Edouard DepazValentin BauerJoseph BiaisLilian FevMarc-A BarbierRemy Taveira - but also many others (including Max Palmer, Sylvain Tognelli, Mika Germond, Dustin Dollin... Quite the universal roster!), immortalized on Parisian spots aplenty - some classic ones and some more rare nugs, all approached with a sweet creative twist. Out of many examples, one of Soy's many fountains gets reinvented (and that's despite the mysterious disappearance of the corresponding Instagram account), but really it's the whole landscape of the French capital that gets dripped into new colors here, from the most famous plazas to the most unknown street corners possible (e.g.. le Dôme's three-flat-three, or the benches at République)... All in great fun as well, just bathing in the rhythm of the daily sessions.

Chic, chic, chic!

And as a complementary bonus, we are happy to share with y'all this photo gallery, by Max Verret!

LA FRENCH TECH

So! The guys from Blaze are in a hell of a shape. Thirty days of skateboarding between Lyon, Marseille and Paris were enough for them to film French Diplomacy. Matisse Banc, spectacular as usual, took care of the bangers, while the entire team imposed itself as true ledge killers with combinations always more and more technical.

Braziliano-brazilian collab

Author of the "Flanantes" trilogy of independent Brazilian skate videos with a concept revolving on the skateboarders’ modern utilization of public spaces, Murilo Romão just came through with a collaboration piece with the good homies over at Blaze Supply. Said teamwork materializes under the form of a guest "Flanantes" model on Blaze, and this new web clip, streamable here. Quirky spots galore, and Murilo is shown excelling on them regardless of which end of the lens he happens to find himself on. A mandatory watch! And make sure to catch up with the 2018 dates for the Brazilian skate photo and video festival Mimpi while part of your head is down there!

Blazing

The Blaze supply’s French-Brazilians literally blazing the streets of São Paulo is something. And there is no need to say they go real hard, especially when it comes to slides and grinds, as confirmed by the last tricks of the video.

London postcard!

Well, what a way to kickstart the week, with a great video coming straight outta the Brit capitol, and a rather perfect casting, including most notably our beloved Dom Henry, who's on fire, here!

Haze Wheels / promo / PREMIERE

You had been warned, as discussed yesterday, Bertrand Soubrier knows how to pick'em up, and Haze Wheels confirms it here with a promo that we are more than happy to present you today, as a LIVE exclusive! From Oscar Candon to JP Villa, they got you covered, including real bits and pieces of Hugo Maillard in there… If –like us– you dig it, share with the world!

Shots

Is there a drinking game based on that song? One could hope not, as it would hurt you… JP Villa also put the hurting on spots, here, as he always does, without looking like he tries hard, getting tech where you wouldn't expect it.

Karma 2

Ah, Marseille… Multicultural city if there was ever one, and home base of a skate scene that is actually a puzzle of totally different ones, meaning there is always something about to give! For the foreigners, 21 skatehop is now gone, but for a while was the social center for all the kids that hang out in those streets, and this video is the definite proof; spots you've never seen before, buddies skating them all with their own style, and a mood that will make you crave to be part of the session… This should get you amped for the whole summer, seriously!

He back, he back!

This edit drops perfectly for Paris Fashion Week, but mainly, mainly, reminds us that, yep, Lucas is back with a vengeance! On top of his game… Peace, love and unity for all!

Tech flow !

French kid JP Villa turns pro for a new brand called Blaze Supply and gives us a tech part that still flows. That and he proves that you can be a gangster ands skate to something else than bad hip-hop!
