This is the video we all needed. We will not dwell too much on the incredible cast that is proposed here, because it’s rather normal when we have the Nike Sb team at hand. On the other hand, we must note that there are some faces that we are not used to see and it's really cool. Beyond that, it's probably one of the best videos we've seen this year (and not only because Live co-organized the Paris premiere), almost everyone must have a favorite skater that appeared here. We go from Great-Britain to the United-States with two different ways to practice, to approach spots but always with an energy more than overflowing. There is also a particularly violent Casper Brooker almost reminding us the Hockey videos. It's also a great opportunity to remember how incredible Daan Van Der Linden is and that he does not skates for Antihero for nothing! But above all, here is finally a real part for Caleb Barnett, something that is expected at least since the “Hockey III”! At filming, Jacob Harris and Ant Travis shared the task and really worked to make something irreproachable. In short, an effective video and well executed in every way, thank you!
For the release of their two little pairs of shoes, the Polar skate team flew to Puerto Rico. The landscape and the spots are beautiful! There is really something to galvanize the troops. Of course, the Polar guys were unleashed, ready to taste concrete with an ever more incredible speed. They have not lost a gram of their madness since "We blew it at some point", and of course Tor Störm is still in at the filmmaking. Frankly difficult to find a team that can transmit as much energy in a video. Here is a proof in picture that we must perhaps forget the wax for much more speed, there is never too much we have to believe.
Carhartt W.I.P. gathered one heavy crew for Lentiicular, a collecti(i)on of clips filmed over the span of three years between New York, Paris, Madrid and Lisbon. Roger Gonzales' video work is simply beautiful and the cast only makes it more incredible, with a great mix of styles such as those of Andrew Wilson, Remy Taveira, Tolia Titaev, Felipe Bartolomé, Joseph Biais, Taylor Caruso and even Chris Milic. But above all, finally we get to enjoy a real part from Roman Gonzales who as usual never fails at getting creative, gracious and technical.
Tor Ström, or vxtaosen, more or less the current Polar filmer worked very well in early autumn to deliver us KBH MIXEN. With at the casting, of course a good part of the polar team, Hugo Boserup who’s still a big fan of high speed, and a lot of Scandinavian locals. But especially a very well deserved part for a Ville Wester ready to commit on anything and everything as long as there is a little bit of challenge. In short a huge dose of adrenaline, we even have a small appearance of Kyle Wilson.
A nice compilation of second angles, "outtakes" and other never seen before footie from some of the most interesting projects filmed recently in NYC make for a great showcase of what's happening in the Big Apple nowadays. Also includes Vincent Touzery!
At Frog, they love Hjalte so much they just gave him a guest board… But, we love Hjalte too, and you love Hjalte too, don't you!? The main difference is they get to skate all around NYC with him, which transcribes in endless smiles and beautiful lines…
The ever explosive Cyrus, Roman in full finesse, a Max Palmer at his best, pretty much every New-Yorker you dig and a Touzery for the grand finale… Wait, you haven't cicked, yet!?
When Carhartt WIP is going to cross the Atlantic to recruit some new work force, you bet they are going to pick them right… And this trip to Seoul, in between Old Town, and the Future as announced today showcases it perfectly.
